Danzantes del Valle is a burgeoning non-profit organization, established in 2021 with a vision to create a professional dance company tailored for all students. Through folklorico, Danzantes del Valle’s focus is education, cultural preservation, community involvement, and leadership development.

Danzantes del Valle supports its dancers and encourages them to pursue higher education. In collaboration with the Alisal Folklorico program, we primarily serve students from East Salinas, many of whom come from families who are employed as farm workers and face financial constraints. Due to this, we created a scholarship that our dancers, who are high school seniors, can apply to with the intent to reduce financial barriers as they pursue their post-high school education at a four-year university, community college, technical, or vocational school.
